Saturday Class
Please note that the Saturday class will move from David Lloyd to a new venue from March 10th. The new venue is the Holy Family Church Hall on Redbridge Hill (only 5 mins away from David Lloyd). It is much larger and has ample parking. The class times will also change slightly so check the class schedule section for full details.
Attendance competition results
The winner of the January attendance competition is Erika Dulay with 29 sessions attended. Fantastic effort! Erika has won a PT session with Gareth.
European Championships
The European championships will be held in Manchester this year. It will be a rare opportunity to watch top level taekwondo here in the UK and also the chance to see the GB Team in action for the last time before the Olympics. The club is organising a weekend in Manchester to watch this fantastic event on May 5th-6th. The cost of hotel and 2 day ticket is £45 per person (£35 for under 16s). We will also arrange a minibus for those who do not want to drive (£25 per person). Spaces are limited so book early. Yan, Joe or Gareth can secure your space.
We also have a very limited number of spectator spaces to travel with BTS to the Belgian Open (March 30th-April 1st). The cost is £120 to include travel as well as 2 nights hotel. The Belgian Open is an A class event which will be held in Gent, a very picturesque and touristic town. For details and bookings please speak to Yan (07977 468717).
BTS annual awards evening
The date of the annual awards evening has been moved to April 21st from 7.30pm and will now be held at the Southampton golf course (off The Avenue). Tickets are available for £2 per person or £5 per family. Thanks to the help of dedicated BTS members we have managed to secure a great venue and are able to offer very cheap tickets. As well as having a bit of fun (bar, disco…), it will be a chance to celebrate the club’s successes over the past year. Anyone is welcome to attend (not just BTS members). Finger buffet also included!

We will have a raffle to raise money for the Team Fund. Any suitable raffle prizes would be very welcome.
Player profiles
The player profiles page is now being built. Jeamy’s profile is already live so that you can use it as an example. To minimise the workload please make sure your profile is complete and emailed together with a picture (not separately) and that the picture file is not larger than 500kb.

Poole Class
Joe has 3 spaces available in his car for anybody wishing to attend the class in Poole every Monday. He leaves at 5pm and returns at about 9pm. Just call or text him to book your space.
