SARAH STEVENSON won a SILVER medal in the -72kg ladies division,
Sarah had 3 matches against World Class Senior opponents and reached the final against Spain. Unfortunately , Sarah was unable to compete in the final due to heat exhaustion and dehydration.
This result put Sarah in good form leading up to the Senior Worlds in Korea.
National teams from all over the World used this event as preparation for the Korea World Championships in November. Medals gained at this event were an encouraging sign of prospects in Korea.
