ThE Junior Great Britain squad that competed in the Junior Olympics 2000 in Orlando brought back three gold medals, four silvers and one bronze. They were coached by National Team Coach Master Joe Brown. Shaun New and Aaron Cook both scooped the gold. Kirsty Johnson , Anika Reay , Thomas Peasey received the silver and Jemma Johnson got the bronze.

The team was sponsored by Airlynx Taxis and they train with Master Brown around the south including Millbrook and Eastleigh. Commenting on their success ,Master Brown said that the team did really well but takes a lot of commitment. Most of the team train four or five times a week to be good at this level.

Chief Instructor; Master Joe Brown wishes Dave to be remembered as one of his very first students, who over the years had become one of the most
respected and highly regarded instructors throughout the association.

As Joe's most senior instructor Dave was a key figure within our clubs,
running training sessions, attending seminars, helping at events and
always willing to offer advice or guidance to club members at all levels.

Throughout his years practicing Taekwondo, Dave remained 100 percent loyal to BTS, his fellow instructors and his students.

He will always be in our hearts.....
